Be a Good Neighbor

Notice the parable of the good Samaritan ( Luke 10:27-37). Jesus begins by confirming to the one who asked Him how to inherit eternal life, that what he should do is keep the second greatest commandment, after loving God with all your heart, mind and soul: to love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22: 36-40).  Jesus is then asked “who is my neighbor” the thought being, who is it I should love as much as I love myself. What to Fear

There is so much evil in the world and so much going on that it would scare anyone, not to mention the people who are living in war-torn areas of the world or in refuge camps or even in areas of this country that have been devastated by severe weather or crazed gunmen and the like. What about people living in the poorest regions of the world who can’t get enough to eat or can’t afford even the basic necessities of life. Continue reading
